Arts, Commerce and Science College in Alkuti, Parner began operating in 2004 with 7 teachers and 160 students in the F.Y. BA & B.Com department. With time, we have amplified into an institute of 11 departments and 24 teachers handling the educational responsibility of B.A. B.Com. B.Sc. M.Com and M.Sc. of 850 students in 2022-23.

LIBRARY

The college library serves as the central hub of academic resources, supporting the teaching, learning, and research needs of students and faculty. It is equipped with a spacious Reading Hall measuring 1200 sq.ft., providing a quiet and conducive environment for study.

The library maintains a collection of 5,436 books encompassing Arts, Commerce, and Science, along with reference works and general reading material. In addition to textbooks, the library subscribes to selected journals, magazines, and newspapers to facilitate academic enrichment and awareness of current developments.

LABORATORY

The college is equipped with seven well-furnished and well-equipped laboratories that provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to complement theoretical learning. These laboratories play a vital role in enhancing scientific skills, analytical thinking, and overall academic development.

Language Laboratory

The college has established a modern Language Laboratory to strengthen the communication and soft skills of students. The lab is designed to improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW) skills through interactive and technology-based learning methods.

The Language Laboratory is equipped with:

  • Audio-visual systems and language learning software
  • Individual headsets and computers for practice sessions
  • Facilities for group discussions, presentations, and interactive activities

This facility enables students to enhance their English language proficiency, develop confidence in communication, and prepare effectively for academic, professional, and competitive examinations. It also plays an important role in personality development and career readiness.

The college provides a dedicated internet facility to support academic, research, and administrative requirements. High-speed connectivity is made available in the computer laboratory, library, and select departments, ensuring easy access to digital resources and online learning platforms.
